About India Feature

India Feature promotes emerging surrealist artists from around the world through our thriving Instagram account. We also curate an ongoing collection in collaboration with Kaleido, an innovative art platform and community.

With our first virtual art prize, we want to showcase exciting Indian artists.

  • You will need to do this on a desktop computer (not a mobile device).

    Is there a fee?

    No! It’s completely free to enter.

    Do I keep my artwork?

    You keep all your work and retain all rights to it. You can even upload sold artwork to your portfolio.

    What’s the minimum age to apply?

    18

    What criteria do the judges use to determine the winner?

    Our judges look at your whole portfolio. Aside from looking for skill, they want to connect to your work. Add audio to talk about yourself as an artist, and process images and video to show your technique. Check out our “Tips” section for more!

    Can I keep using Kaleido?

    Yes! Kaleido is a free interactive media platform for artists, and you can take advantage of it even after the prize ends. Kaleido’s features help you tell your story, sell your art, and connect to artists and collectors.

    Is the prize open to other forms of art (music, poetry, tattoo)?

    Our prize is only for visual arts, but we do accept digital art, sculpture, installation, etc.
